Solutions we offer

Peripheral Driver, Complex Device Driver

Control units (ECUs) with their special requirements require special hardware connections to sensors and actuators.

WATCHDOG

When it comes to watchdogs, not only expert knowledge in the field of AUTOSAR basic software is required, but often also in the field of functional safety (ISO26262).

CAN TRANSCEIVER

The connection of a (new) CAN transceiver (also as part of a system base chip / SBC) requires a suitable CanTrcv module.

Time Synchronization

Especially with regard to new E/E architectures such as zonal ECUs, sensor data fusion, but also for security, time synchronization between the ECUs is becoming increasingly important.

Libraries

In addition to complex device drivers, libraries are another way to provide common functionality to multiple BSW modules, SW-Cs or CDDs.

PACKAGES

Some requirements require multiple driver modules. For example, a system base chip usually contains a CAN transceiver and hardware watchdog in addition to the power management functionality.

Device specific BSW modules

Some BSW modules require adaptation to special hardware or a special implementation. Specifically, we have developed a Can Module (Can_98_Spi) that communicates via SPI instead of CAN.

Peripheral Driver, Complex Device Driver

Control units (ECUs) have specific hardware requirements for connecting to sensors and actuators. The interface between the hardware and the application layer (software components/SWCs) is managed by Complex Device Drivers (CDD) or Complex Drivers (CD). We provide support in developing drivers for project-specific needs, including safety-relevant actuators and sensors (from ASIL-A to ASIL-D).

CDD_E521_4x

Complex Device Driver for PSI5 using Elmos Multi-Mode PSI5-Transceiver E521-4x (E521.40 and E521.41) connected via SPI.

CDD_TLE8242_2

Complex Device Driver for Infineon TLE8242-2 8 Channel Fixed Frequency Constant Current Control With Current Profile Detection chip connected via SPI.

CDD_TLF35584

Complex Device Driver for Infineon TLF35584 Multi Voltage Safety Micro Processor Supply connected via SPI. Also available as package with Wdg_98_TLF35584.

Watchdog

When it comes to watchdogs, not only expert knowledge in the field of AUTOSAR basic software is required. Here, development according to the required safety classification (ASIL-A/B/C/D) is also essential. SCHEID automotive supplies existing Wdg drivers or develops them according to your safety level and existing watchdog module (also as part of a system base chip – SBC).

Wdg_98_TLF35584

AUTOSAR Watchdog module for Infineon Multi Voltage Safety Micro Processor Supply TLF35584 connected via SPI. Also available as package with CDD_TLF35584.

Wdg_98_Uja1169

AUTOSAR Watchdog module for Mini high-speed CAN system basis chip UJA1169. Also available as package with CanTrcv_98_Uja1169.

Can Transceiver

The connection of a (new) CAN transceiver (also as part of a system base chip / SBC) may require new CanTrcv modules. For this purpose, SCHEID automotive supplies CAN transceiver drivers off-the-shelf or develops the right CanTrcv for you.

CanTrcv_98_Tja1442

AUTOSAR CAN Transceiver for High-speed CAN transceiver TJA1042 / TJA1044 / TJA1442.

CanTrcv_98_Uja1169

AUTOSAR CAN Transceiver for Mini high-speed CAN system basis chip UJA1169.
Also available as package with Wdg_98_Uja1169.

Time Synchronization

Especially with regard to new E/E architectures such as zonal ECUs, sensor data fusion, but also for security, time synchronization between the ECUs is becoming increasingly important. SCHEID automotive supplies the corresponding BSW modules StbM and CanTSyn for this purpose.

CanTSyn

AUTOSAR CAN Time Sync BSW Module CanTSyn according to AUTOSAR Specification R20-11.

StbM

AUTOSAR Synchronized Time-Base Manager BSW Module StbM according to AUTOSAR Specification R20-11.

Libraries

In addition to complex device drivers, libraries are another way to provide common functionality to several BSW modules, SW-Cs or CDDs. The best-known libraries are the Crc or the E2E lib.

TMLib

Time Module Library to perform time calculations for various time formats like used by StbM module.

E2E

Customer or project specific End-to-End (E2E) algorithms to extend existing standard E2E profiles.

Packages

Some requirements require multiple driver modules. For example, a system base chip (SBC) usually contains a CAN transceiver and hardware watchdog in addition to the power management functionality, so that a complete package (e.g. consisting of SBC functionality, CanTrcv and Wdg) makes sense. In terms of time synchronization, the modules StbM with the CanTSyn and the matching TMLib, for example, form a coherent "Time-Sync package".

TLF35584

TLF35584 package consisting of CDD_TLF35584 and Wdg_98_TLF35584.

TimeSync

TimeSync package consisting of CanTSyn, StbM and TMLib.

Device specific BSW modules

Some BSW modules require adaptation to special hardware or a special implementation. Specifically, we have developed a Can Module (Can_98_Spi) that communicates via SPI instead of CAN.

Can_98_Spi

AUTOSAR Can BSW module which is using SPI as physical communication protocol instead of CAN. Using standard MCAL Spi driver for data exchange.
